Edward Okpa is joining the field of candidates vying to be the next mayor of Dallas.
Okpa announced Friday that he will make a third bid for the post. The 50-year-old ran unsuccessfully in 2003 and 2007.
Okpa joins candidates Mike Rawlings, former Pizza Hut CEO, Ron Natinsky, a Dallas City Council member, and David Kunkle, former Dallas police chief.
Okpa is a commercial real estate appraiser and broker, as well as a consultant on international trade, according to his website.
The election is on May 14. Early voting is May 2-10.
